Family Chores: Chore Chart
Chores, streaks, and an allowance everyone can see
Chore tracker and allowance app for kids, with rewards and streaks.
Free. Nothing to install, no account.
How it is used
Family Chores is a chore chart and allowance app for the whole family. Kids check off their chores, the app keeps track of what each one has earned, and nobody has to argue about who did what on Tuesday.
Pick chores from a library filtered by age, decide what each one pays, and let your kids check them off on the Today tab or right from the home screen widget. Every finished chore goes on that child's record: what was done, by whom, on which day, and what it was worth.
AN ALLOWANCE TRACKER, NOT A BANK
Family Chores keeps the record, and you hand over the money. There's no card, no bank link, and no real money moving through the app. When you pay your child, mark it paid: the balance goes back to zero and the history stays. Made a mistake? A parent can void an entry, and the void shows up as an entry of its own, so nothing changes behind anyone's back.
CHORES THAT FIT EACH AGE
The chore library has more than 2,700 chores, grouped by area (kitchen, bedroom, laundry, yard, pets, car, and more) and filtered by your child's age: 3–5, 6–8, 9–12, or 13+. Each chore repeats every day, every week, every month, or every season, and it pays once per period. A weekly chore counts once from Monday to Sunday and shows as done for the rest of the week. You can also write your own chores with the time they take, what they pay, and how often they come around. You can change what a chore pays or who does it at any time.
KIDS DON'T NEED AN ACCOUNT
Each child is a profile in your household: a name, an age range, and a drawn profile picture. No email, no password, nothing for a kid to forget. Only parents sign in. The other parent joins your household with an invite code and sees the same chores and the same balances on their own phone.
REWARDS AND STREAKS
Add rewards with a price in dollars, like a movie night or a new book, and redeem them from a child's balance once they've saved enough. Every child gets a streak, a count of chores this week, and, with two or more kids, a spot on the family leaderboard. Missing one day won't break a streak. When a child hits a milestone, a card pops up that you can share.
A QUESTION FOR DINNER
Once a day, the app suggests a question for the dinner table, picked for the ages of your kids. Save your family's answers and read them again later on the Family tab.
A PIN FOR PARENTS
Lock the Chores, Money, Rewards, and Settings tabs with a 4-digit PIN, so only a grown-up can add chores, change amounts, or mark the allowance paid. Today and Family stay open, so kids can still see and check off their own chores.
