How it is used

Planning a potluck, a camping trip or a Friendsgiving? DibsUp is a potluck sign-up sheet your whole group shares: everyone calls dibs on what they'll bring, so nobody shows up with the third bag of chips. When it's over, it splits the costs and shows who owes whom.

Use it as a potluck planner for tailgates, BBQs, baby showers and holiday parties, and let it split the group expenses afterward.

HOW IT WORKS

• Start a crew for the event and list what you need: plates, ice, the main dish, the cooler.
• Share the invite link or the 8-character invite code. Friends without the app can join from their browser with just a name. No account, no phone number.
• Everyone taps Dibs on what they'll bring. The list updates for the whole crew while it's open.
• Whoever called dibs checks the item off and enters what it cost.
• Open Settle up to see who pays whom, and how much.

DibsUp adds up what each person spent, splits the total evenly across the crew and lists the payments that make everyone even. No money moves through the app: it does the math, and you pay each other however you already do.
