How to play

Adopt a digital pet that keeps living while your phone is in your pocket. Pipsqueak is a cozy pet care simulator: feed your pet, give it a bath, play with it, tuck it in, and visit other pets in a park full of neighbors.

A PET THAT MISSES YOU

Your pet lives on the game's server, not on your phone. It gets hungry, messy, bored, lonely, and sleepy in real time, even when the app is closed, and changing your phone's clock won't fool it. A countdown on the pet screen shows how long until it's hungry again. Your pet never dies and is never lost. Miss a day and it'll forgive you, but a hungry pet won't play until you feed it, and your care streak ends.

CARE FOR IT YOUR WAY

• Feed: choose from four foods. Every kind of creature has a favorite, and it fills up more when you find it. The game won't tell you which one it is.
• Wash, play, and tuck in: every tap tops up one need.
• Your pet talks back after each one with a short line of its own.
• Keep a care streak going and unlock milestone cards you can share.

A PARK FULL OF PETS

There's a park for each country and language, and yours is always full of pets to visit. Every pet's mood is on show there. A clean, happy pet looks great. A grubby one looks grubby in front of everyone.

One need you can't fill yourself: social. It only goes up when someone visits your pet or you visit another one. Stop by any pet in the park to pet it, feed it, give it a bath, play with it, leave a toy, or leave a friendly message from a short list, and each player sees it in their own language. Every visit cheers up both pets.

SEE WHO STOPPED BY

Your Visits tab lists who came by and what they did. Collect the toys they left before they expire.

PLAY WITH FRIENDS

Add friends with a friend code, or scan the QR code on their phone. Your friends' pets show up in your Friends list, ready to visit.

NOTIFICATIONS THAT HELP

Turn on notifications and the game lets you know when your pet gets hungry or runs low on something it needs, and when someone visits. Visits are grouped, so a busy day is one notification, not twenty.

SAFE AND IN YOUR CONTROL

Report a player or block them, right from their pet or from your Visits tab. A blocked player's pet and visits disappear. Pet names are checked before anyone sees them.

TAKE YOUR PET WITH YOU

Play as a guest, or sign in with a Zaparo ID using Google or a code we email you. Sign in with the same Zaparo ID on a new phone and your pet comes along.
