Zaparo: Would You Rather Daily
One would you rather question every day
One would you rather question a day. Vote, then see how everyone split.
Free. Nothing to install, no account.
How it is used
Zaparo is a free Android app that asks one would you rather question every day, counts how everyone answered, and shows you the split three ways: the whole network, your own country, and your friends.
Two options, one tap. Fly above the clouds or turn invisible at will. Sweet breakfast or savoury. Window seat or aisle. You pick, and then you see what everybody else picked.
THE SPLIT IS THE POINT
Voting is the easy part. What you came for is the number underneath: how the whole network went, how your country went, and how the people you actually know went. Those three rarely agree, and the gap between them is the interesting part.
A NEW QUESTION EVERY DAY
Three hundred and sixty five of them, one per day, the same question for everyone on the same day. Yesterday's result sits below today's question, so you can see how it settled once the votes came in.
YOUR ZAPARO RECORD
Zaparo apps write what you did in them onto one profile: records, streaks, levels and finished runs. Your profile is that whole record in one place, and it is worth opening on the first day because the other apps have already filled it in. The record is kept for a Zaparo ID: as a guest you vote and see every split, and signing in is what starts writing your record.
A FEED OF PLAYED MOMENTS, NOT POSTS
Below the question sits a feed of what your friends have been doing across the Zaparo apps. A card is the app's own words about what happened, and tapping it opens that app at that same moment. React to one and the person who made it hears about it.
FRIENDS BY CODE
Share your friend code, or enter somebody else's. There is no search, no discovery and no public timeline: your feed is your friends and the day's hosts, and nobody else.
NOTHING TO MODERATE, BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO TYPE
No photo posts and no text posts. Nothing you type reaches another person's screen, so there is no comment section to wade through. Block and report are there for a person, not for a message.
HOSTS ARE CHARACTERS, AND SAY SO
The question of the day is presented by a drawn character. Every card carries the word Character on it. They are never presented as people, never appear in your friends list, and never count in a vote.
