Keep in Touch: Call Reminder
See who you haven't called in a while
Stay in touch with friends and family. Call reminders, longest wait on top.
Free. Nothing to install, no account.
How it is used
Keep in Touch is a call reminder for the people you don't want to drift away from. It keeps a short list of friends and family, and whoever you've gone longest without talking to sits on top. A simple way to stay in touch and reconnect, and your list never leaves your phone.
You already know your mom's number. What's hard to answer from memory is "who haven't I called in a while?" This app answers it at a glance.
HOW IT WORKS
Add someone with a name and how often you want to talk: every day, every 3 days, weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly, every 2, 3, or 6 months, or yearly. The list sorts itself by who's waiting longest. After you talk, tap Talked and they move down the list.
Forgot to mark a call from yesterday? Pick the date and nothing is lost. Each person keeps a streak (how many times in a row you've reached out on time) plus a history of every check-in, with an optional note.
Nobody else has to install anything. There are no invites and no friend requests. It's just your list.
CONTACTS, ONLY IF YOU WANT
You can type a name, or link someone from your contacts to bring over their photo and number. The app asks for contacts access only when you choose to link, and reads just that one person. Linked people get Call and Message buttons that open your phone's own apps.
A DAILY REMINDER, OFF UNTIL YOU TURN IT ON
Pick an hour and get one notification a day naming who's waited longest and how many more are due. On days nobody is due, it stays quiet. Tap Talked right in the notification to check in without opening the app.
HOME SCREEN WIDGET
Shows the 3 people who've been waiting longest. Tap the check mark to mark that you talked.
YOUR LIST STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Your people, check-ins, and notes are stored only on this phone. There's no sync, and the list is never sent to any server. Export everything as a CSV file whenever you like, through your phone's file picker. The app makes a guest Zaparo ID for itself on first launch, so there's no sign-in screen, and it sends crash reports and usage stats so problems can be fixed.
